To achieve stable pairing and network configuration for Bluetooth (BLE) devices, the application needs to obtain location permissions. This is due to technical limitations of the Android system — Bluetooth scanning requires location permissions to function properly, ensuring the app can accurately discover and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.
7. Data Scope and Purpose
We only obtain the device's approximate location information through system interfaces when you actively use the Bluetooth network configuration function (to assist Bluetooth scanning). This information is solely used to complete the device pairing process and will not be used to locate your specific geographical position or track your whereabouts.
8. Data Storage and Sharing
Temporary location-related information generated during the network configuration process will not be stored nor shared with any third parties. When you complete the network configuration or turn off Bluetooth, the relevant information will become invalid immediately.
9. Your Control Rights
You can turn off location permissions at any time in your device's 「Settings - App Permissions」, but this may cause the Bluetooth network configuration function to not work properly.
